SL1 Phones:
SL1 => it's all kind of "regular" BB5 Phones with Security Level 1 type phones (N70, 3110C, E65, and so on...)
doesn't matter it uses Single or dual Engine concept, or uses RAP**x or RAPIDO.
if the phone doesn't have PM120 section or/and Protected PM308 section, so it uses Security Level 1 type protection.
we can Unlock them with many tools that available on the market, even with the free software

some misjudge by saying 5310, 6210s, E71, and so on, with sayingthey're all SL2 phones, BUT the phone DOES NOT have protected PM308Section.
so in my opinion, it still SL1 Phones with some ekstra security in PM120 Section. this type are what we called BB5+ Class type.
Unlocking them is supported with many tools that available on the market.
you can do free, or some tool still charge with credits.

doesn't matter it uses Single or dual Engine concept, or uses RAP**x or RAPIDO.
if the phone has have PM120 section or/and Protected PM308 section, so it uses Security Level 2 type protection.

That explain many of available tools in the market can NOT unlock them(except genie as i know), cause they have Protected PM308 Section thatcan't be write in Local Mode.
BUT Rebuild Certificate (use ask-rpl services) is Supported.

SL3 => it's all kind of BB5 Phones with Security Level 2 type phones.
doesn't matter it uses Single or dual Engine concept, or uses RAP**x or RAPIDO.
if the phone have PM120 section or/and Protected PM308 section, andprotected firmware that makes any available tool in the market (exceptgenie is probably supported) to Rebuild simlock data and simlock keydata to the phones

what so called SL3 type phones:

* 5310 RM-303 - MCU SW 58.58, MCU SW 59.42. RAPS V3.01
* 6300 RM-217 - MCU SW 57.20
* 6500c RM-265 - MCU SW 59.45 RAP3GS V2.0

* 5130c RM-495 ALL version RAPS_V3.03-PA

That explain many of available tools in the market can NOT unlock them(except DM3 as i know), cause they have Protected PM308 Section thatcan't be write in Flash Mode.
and Rebuild Certificate (use ask-rpl services) is doing the wrong way, so i prefer to say NOT Supported.
in case you've got a contact service phone with corrupted simlock,don't buy ask rpl services so hurry cause no tools available to rebuildthe whole certificate corretcly !!

And at last
sl1: no pm120 security , no protect pm308
BB5+: extra PM120 security, no protect 308
sl2: extra pm120 security , 308 protected
sl3: pm120,pm308,firmware protected
